Steps for Creating Wooden-Resin Products
The steps for creating a wooden product with epoxy resin are as follows:
Step 1: Select an Appropriate Mold
Step 2: Choose the Right Epoxy Resin for Wood
Step 3: Prepare the Workspace for Resin Epoxy Woodwork
Step 4: Process the Wood Pieces for Combining with Epoxy
Step 5: Apply the First Layer of Epoxy Resin in the Mold
Step 6: Apply Subsequent Layers Until Completion
The height of the resin table can be adjusted according to your preference. Some individuals prefer to place thick wood pieces (between 8 to 10 cm) into the mold to create a resin table, while others might choose to insert large wooden pieces into the resin to make resin benches. This means that there is no height restriction for epoxy resin, provided you know the correct method for applying it in thicker layers. The correct method involves layering. When working with epoxy resin, each layer can be up to 1 cm thick, and you can apply the next layer once the previous one has reached a touch-free state.
Do not worry about the lines between layers, as they will not be visible. If you are using a different type of resin, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and guidelines.
